The Festival's director - Darko Ivić, this year's Selector of the festival Miroljub Stojanovic, Senior Advisor at the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs and the Commissioner for Protection of Equality Mrs. Brankica Jankovic addressed the audience.

The MC of the 12th Bosifest ceremony was actress Natasa Tapuskovic.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the audience was able to watch the film "Gosia@Tomek" directed by Christine Jezior.

What happens to a relationship if a partner suddenly becomes severely disabled after an accident? For Gosia it is clear that she will stand by her boyfriend Tomek no matter what in order to let him live as normal and fulfilled a live as possible. But time and again she becomes painfully aware of her own limits, as well as of those of a society that talks a lot about inclusion but often does not seem to be ready for it. GOSIA@TOMEK is based on more than 3000 emails that Gosia has been writing to Tomek daily since his accident.

During Bosifest, from October 18 to 20, the audience will have an opportunity to watch a total of 12 films chosen by the selector Miroljub Stojanovic.

Members of this year's Bosifest jury are directors: Ivan Ikic, Stefan Ivancic and Sonja Djekic.

Jury will give out the following awards: Grand Prix for the best film, the award for the best director, the award for the best-case scenario, as well as special recognitions.

The festival, with its rich diversity, promotes Serbia and the city of Belgrade as a democratic society that fights for the integration of persons with disabilities as equal members of society.
